Benvenuto a Bella Regina!

Our family owned and operated pizzeria is the brainchild of Joe and Sheralyn Maddock. Having moved from California to North Carolina, they envisioned a small, comfortable neighborhood restaurant where friends and family could gather to enjoy delicious tasting Italian food while feeling like part of the family.  Bella Regina was thus born.

Joe selected the name Bella Regina (Beautiful Queen) as a tribute to his Godmother who embodies the essence of a nurturing, warm-hearted Italian. Because family is of primary importance to Joe and Sheralyn, when you come here you can expect to be greeted with a genuine wait staff whose goal is to make you feel like one of the family. The atmosphere of Bella Regina resembles a traditional Italian dining experience, with both indoor and outdoor seating arrangements designed to accommodate both small and large parties. You'll enjoy our tasty hand-tossed pizzas, scrumptious marinara glazed pastas, and mouth-watering homemade layered lasagna recipes, Bella Regina surely has something to offer for everyone! We use nothing but the finest ingredients and all our spaghetti sauces are made from recipes passed around the kitchen for more than three generations. Each day, dough for everything from pizza to garlic knots is freshly made. In addition, we invite you to top off your meal with our delectable cheesecake, tiramisu imported from Italy, or a variety of other desserts that will be sure to fill your hearts and please your appetite with the warmth of our family-style cooking.

Prior to owning Bella Regina, Joe and Sheralyn’s pizzeria knowledge began in their teenage years while working in a small town pizza parlor. It was at this young age that Joe first entertained the idea of opening his own pizza parlor someday.  Although they pursued careers outside of the pizza business, they knew that eventually they would have the opportunity to make their dream come true.  Meanwhile, they built excellent customer service skills which each customer is sure to notice. 

It is Joe and Sheralyn’s goal to meet as many customers as possible, with the purpose of considering the customer’s experience and expectations.  Everyone’s opinion counts here!  And to Joe and Sheralyn, their customers are the first priority.
